Oh yes, well I tried it. I made a trip to home hardware the other day and picked up the supplies.

My parents paid for this... epic win.

So I got to work on this little project, wound wound wound the copper around the fan...

So I finished the whole thing up, just to find out... it cycles 500 mL in under 8 seconds. Oh goody. It works fine yes, but the water goes through so fast the water doesn't have time to absorb the heat.

Lifehacker, you fail. Meanwhile I'll be working on a second prototype to get this biatch working.
